Machine Learning (ML) is that field of computer science with the help of which computer systems can provide sense to data in much the same way as human beings do. In simple words, ML is a type of artificial intelligence that extract patterns out of raw data by using an algorithm or method. 2021.10.18 20:00 hackzubbard Class of 2022 Mid-Season Recruiting Primer - Defense
DL - 4-6 Needed, 2 Taken
|Name||Rank||Top Schools||Offiical Visits||Notes||Prediction|
|1. Jaheim Oatis - DT||4* (#53, #9 DL)||Top 5: Alabama, Ole Miss, Miss St, Texas A&M, UGA||0 Taken. No Bama OV set (Nov likely). Plans to visit Ole Miss, Bama, Miss St, Texas A&M, and UGA||An ELITE defensive line prospect for the Tide, Jaheim is a force up the middle; dancing bear type. Jaheim has been open about visiting the in-state programs in Mississppi but his commitment is not really in doubt.||Alabama - 9 Confidence|
|2. Walter Bob - DE||4* (#270, #36 DL)||Alabama||0 Taken. No Bama OV Scheduled||An early commit to the Tide after a spring eval, Walter Bob has work to do in the classroom. Best way to describe the current situation is that he's on the line between qualifying and not qualifying.||JUCO - 1 Confidence|
|1. Walter Nolen - DT||5* (#1, #1 DL)||Top 6: TAMU, Florida, Tennessee, UGA, Alabama, Michigan||3 Taken: Florida, Michigan, And Texas A&M. Bama OV set for the LSU Game. Will use 5th OV on UGA or Tennessee||The nation's top prospect has been all over the place in terms of his leaders. Walter favors Florida but his parents do not, so they remain unlikely. Walter's parents favor Michigan but Walter does not, so they remain unlikely. Walter visited Texas A&M at the end of the summer and again for his OV for the Bama game so the Aggies are a trendy team here right now. Alabama and UGA are somewhat just chilling in the background currently. Tennessee has remained a constant as the in-state team and should be seen as the most likely team at this point. This recruitment is weird and should continue to be so, as Walter and his family continue to send out favorite lists that end up begin meaningless in minutes. Alabama has been constant here and still have an OV to use but this does not feel like a recruitment Alabama generally wins down the stretch.||Tennessee - 1 Confidence|
|2. Khurtiss Perry - DE||4* (#65, #11 DL)||Top 5: Alabama, Auburn, Texas, Clemson, UCF||0 Taken. No Bama OV set. Plans to visit Bama and Auburn.||After a period of evalution, Khurtiss has quickly risen on the Tide's board, a move he's been receptive to. Ohio State looked to be the biggest competition until they were dropped from his top 5. I think Khurtiss knows where he wants to go; how long he waits is up to him.||Alabama - 8 Confidence|
|3. Anthony Lucas - DE||4* (#63, #10 DL)||Top 6: Texas A&M, Notre Dame, Alabama, LSU, Miami, Oregon||5 Taken: Bama, Texas A&M, Notre Dame, Oregon, and Miami||High-end lineman from the West Coast, Lucas had a great time on his summer OV but it appears Texas A&M is in the lead, likely growing that lead after a visit for the Bama game. Bama likely gets him back on campus this season, as they attempt to get some momentum here.||Texas A&M - 6 Confidence|
|4. Isaiah Hastings - DE||3* (#429, #66 DL)||Top 3: Alabama, Florida, Oregon||0 Taken. Bama OV set for the Tennessee Game. Plans to visit Bama and Oregon||Bama's most recent addition to the DL board and a guy they're pushing for in a BIG way. Some call this a Chrisitan Barmore scenario, as we continue to see this guy quickly climb in the rankings. Bama is battling Florida and Oregon here but Alabama's aggressive pursuit here should pay off.||Alabama - 6 Confidence|
|5. Deone Walker - DT||4* (#285, #39 DL)||Top 5: Michigan, Alabama, UGA, Kentucky, Mizzou||1 Taken: Mizzou. No Bama OV set. Michigan visit is likely||A big interior lineman Alabama has turned the heat up for, Michigan is presumed leader here. Will be interesting to see if/how Alabama continues its pursuit.||Michigan - 5 Confidence|
|6. USC Commit Mykel Williams||5* (#29, #5 DL)||Top 4: USC, UGA, Alabama, Florida||2 Taken: USC and UGA. No Bama OV set. Plans to visit Bama||An elite defensive lineman for the Peach State, USC stole him from the SEC after a string of successful visits to California. With Clay Helton out, Mykel, while still commited, is very much on the market, planning to take multiple OVs before finalizing any decision. Williams has been to UGA multiple times this season, including an OV, and while Bama should also get a shot, currently feels like UGA will get the flip here.||UGA - 5 Confidence|
|7. Quency Wiggins - DE||4* (#96, #18 DL)||Top 5: Florida, Alabama, LSU, Texas, Oregon||2 Taken: Florida and Texas. No Bama OV set. Plans to visit Bama and LSU||Wiggins is a long and lean DE from the Bayou, projecting more as a high-end project than a immediate impact guy. LSU is flailing and Alabama is not pushing here. I think this gives #3 and #4 (Florida and Texas) and nice avenue to steal his recruit.||Florida -1 Confidence.|
|8. Omari Abor - DE||5* (#18, #2 EDGE)||Top 5: Ohio State, Alabama, LSU, Texas, Texas A&M||3 Taken: Ohio State, LSU, and Alabama. Bama OV in June. Plans to visit USC and Florida||Alabama gained some momentum here heading into the summer but early on-field results have caused Alabama to slow their pursuit, as Omari has not produced as much for a guy who's already on the line between DL and OLB. Ohio State looks to take advantage here.||Ohio State - 7 Confidence|
|9. Caden Curry - DT||4* (#69, #12 DL)||Top 5: Ohio State, Clemson, Alabama, Indinana, Oregon||2 Taken: Ohio State and Indiana. Bama OV set for the LSU Game. Plans to visit Bama, Clemson and Oregon.||Big bodied D-End from the midwest, I'm hard-pressed to see Curry leave the Big-10, though a Bama OV can change any recruitment.||Ohio State - 8 Confidence|
|10. Chris McClellan - DE||4* (#93, #17 DL)||Top 4: Oklahoma, Florida, Ohio State, Alabama||4 Taken: Florida, USC, Ohio State, and Oklahoma. Bama OV set for the Tennessee Game.||Another top 100 DL recruit for the Tide, McClellan was favorite Ohio State in the summer but is now favoring Oklahoma down the stretch. Bama will get an OV but has not pushed so far.||Oklahoma - 7 Confidence|
|On the Radar||1. 4* DT Mizzou Commit Marquis Gracial|
|Removed from Prior Board||1. 4* DE Justice Finkley - Commited to Texas||2. 4* DE Hero Kanu - Eliminated Bama|
|Name||Rank||Top Schools||Offiical Visits||Notes||Prediction|
|1. Jeremiah Alexander||5* (#11, #1 EDGE)||Alabama||N/A||BIG pickup for the Tide here; Alexander has been incredible on the edge this season and has been a great peer recruiter, both in 2022 and 2023.||Alabama - 10 Confidence|
|1. Enai White||4* (#34, #3 EDGE)||Top 4: UGA, Ohio State, Alabama, Texas A&M||4 Taken: Florida, UGA, Bama, and Ohio State. Bama OV in June. Plans to visit Texas A&M||An elite edge rusher from the Northeast, this recruitment has been tighly contested by the nation's elite teams. Bama, UGA, and Ohio State have all had a lead from spring into summer & fall but Texas A&M has emerged as the favorite, thanks to Aggie DL coach Elijah Robinson (a constant thorn in the side of Alabama's DL recruiting). With a Texas A&M OV on the horizon, look for the Aggies to pull this one out.||Texas A&M - 7 Confidence|
|2. Marvin Jones Jr.||4* (#39, #7 DL)||Top 5: Oklahoma, FSU, Alabama, Miami, Ohio State||1 Taken: Oklahoma. Bama OV set for the LSU game. Plans to visit Bama, Ohio State, FSU, and Texas A&M||American Heritage teammate of CB Earl Little Jr, Marvin Jones Jr. is a FSU that has done very little with the recruitment so far. The in-state schools are not much of a factor here but an in-season OV to Oklahoma has given them some buzz. Alabama is the other team in the mix here, thanks to Earl Little and American Heritage HC Patrick Surtain likely being a friendly ear for Bama. With a upcoming OV, I think Bama can capture the momentum here to gain his signature.||Alabama - 3 Confidence|
|3. Kenyatta Jackson||4* (#78, # 7 EDGE)||Top 3: Ohio State, Oklahoma, Alabama||3 Taken: Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Bama||Although Bama got 2 good visits from Kenyatta during the summer, he looks to commit on Tuesday, likely to OSU||Ohio State - 9 Confidence|
|4. Cyrus Moss||4* (#54, #4 EDGE)||Top 5: Oregon, Notre Dame, Clemson, Alabama, Florida||3 Taken: Oregon, Notre Dame, and Florida. Bama OV set for the LSU game.||This West Coast edge rusher visited over the summer and bumped ASU to put Bama in his top 5. Oregon is the favorite here but Bama could make a push with their OV||Oregon - 5 Confidence|
|On the Radar||None|
|Name||Rank||Top Schools||Offiical Visits||Notes||Prediction|
|1. Shawn Murphy||4* (#66, #8 LB)||Alabama||N/A||A summer commitment for the Tide, Shawn has really come into his own as a senior. Good solid frame while keeping his athleticism and loves to hit. Really not talked about enough.||Alabama - 10 Confidence|
|2. Robert Woodyard||4* (#117, #13 LB)||Top 2: Alabama, Auburn||1 Taken: Auburn. No Bama OV set||I believe Robert is Alabama's longest held 2022 commitment. Woodyard has flirted with Auburn a good deal,a s he has several people in his camp that would prefer the Barn. If a flip occurs, watch for Alabama to turn up the heat on in-state Florida commit Shemar James||Alabama - 7 Confidence|
|On the Radar||1. 4* ILB Florida Commit Shemar James|
|Name||Rank||Top Schools||Offiical Visits||Notes||Prediction|
|1. Trequon Fegans - DB||4* (#85, #11 CB)||Alabama||N/A||Alabama's most recent commit (literally today lol), Fegans projects as a flexible defensive piece, able to play CB, Star or FS. Another nice in-state pickup out of Thompson HS.||Alabama - 10|
|2. Antonio Kite - S||4* (#199, #9 ATH)||Alabama||N/A||High-quality athlete in both football and basketball, Antonio adds an rangey safety to the 2022 class and another solid in-state addition.||Alabama - 10|
|3. Jake Pope - S||3* (#374, #25 S)||Alabama||N/A||Another summer commit for the Tide, reports right out of his commitment seemed to suggest he may have rushed his choice. He's been solid with the Tide but he's been to UGA a few times and UNC is still aggressively trying to get him on campus. I won't project a decommit today but it's possible and ultimately, Alabama would be fine either way.||Alabama - 8 Confidence|
|1. Denver Harris - CB||5* (#9, #3 CB)||Top 4: Alabama, Texas, LSU, Texas A&M||3 Taken: Bama, Texas, and LSU. Bama OV in June. No other visits scheduled.||Elite corner out of North Shore HS in the Houston area (Damion George, Jaeden Roberts), Alabama has been all over this recruitment, in a solid lead spot since the summer. In-state Texas has slowly been chipping away and building comfort with Denver and his family and is selling early playing time HARD, something Bama likely can't/match. Bama still feels good but this one is not quite a done deal. I hope we see Denver back on campus at some point.||Alabama - 6 Confidence|
|2. Earl Little Jr. - CB||4* (#100, #12 CB)||Top 7: Alabama, USC, LSU, Miami, Florida, FSU, Oregon||3 Taken: USC, FSU, and LSU. Bama OV set for the LSU game. No other visits scheduled.||Long-time target for the Tide, Coach Saban likes this DB as #1 on our board, which says a lot. Earl Little is planning to take all his OVs but I'm hard-pressed to see this cover corner go anywhere but Tuscaloosa in the end.||Alabama - 9 Confidence|
|3. USC Commit Domani Jackson||5* (#5, #2 CB)||Top 4: USC, Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State||1 Taken: Michigan. Bama OV set for the LSU game. Plans to visit Bama, USC, and Ohio State||A long-time USC commit, Domani visited the Tide twice, once in the spring and once in the summer. Coming out of Clay Helton's firing, Domani has been vocal about remaining with USC (Domani has a GREAT relationship with interim coach/DB coach Donte Williams, who could very likely be retained by the new coach) but Domani's dad recently said that they're unsure if they want to spend Domani's entire college career on a rebuilding team. This uncertainty gives Bama and Michigan an opportunity to impress, with a Bama OV upcoming for the LSU game.||USC - 1 Confidence|
|4. FSU Commit Sam McCall||4* (#36, #1 ATH)||Top 3: FSU, Alabama, Florida||1 Taken: FSU. No Bama OV set. No other visits scheduled.||For those following the 2022 class through its beginning, Sam McCall has been a frequently infrequent name on the board. His twitter @ is alabama313 and he was an early Tide lean, but Bama was recruiting him at WR while Sam wants to play DB. Florida was his first choice, followed by FSU. Bama has softened its stance on his college position and is currently evaluating him, as he returns from injury. FSU is struggling and Sam has said, verbatim, he would likely flip if Bama gave him the green light. I'll hold off for now but still a name to watch||FSU -1 Confidence|
|5. Zion Branch - S||4* (#50, #4 S)||Top 5: Ohio State, USC, Alabama, Oklahoma, Clemson||3 Taken: Ohio State, Oklahoma, and USC. Bama OV set for the LSU game. Plans to visit Bama and Clemson||Another safety set to visit Bama, Ohio State and USC have been the main names here. Current though suggests he ends up in Columbus||Ohio State - 7 Confidence|
|6. Jacoby Matthews - S||5* (#27, #2 S)||Top 5: Texas A&M, Texas, LSU, Alabama, UUGA||2 Taken: Texas A&M and Texas. Bama OV set for Dec. Plans to visit Bama, Florida, and UGA||Another LSU decommit, Matthews is pretty wide open in his current options. The Texas schools have the current inside track but Matthews plans to visit an SEC trio in Bama, Florida, and UGA. No intel connects Matthews to Bama other than he's visiting in Decemeber so I assume he'll go elsewhere.||Texas A&M - 1 Confidence|
|On the Radar||1. 4* CB Florida Commit Isaiah Bond||2. 4* CB Ohio State Commit Terrance Brooks||3. 4* CB Austin Ausberry|

2021.10.18 20:00 Neisen1996 How do you avoid loneliness as a trans person?
I’m really struggling with this at the moment. 25 MTF, still early on in my transition meaning I am not comfortable presenting fully yet. So it’s hard to go out anywhere without horrible dysphoria.
I have cis friends and supportive parents. But well I don’t feel that supported. I can’t talk about trans stuff or transphobia or anything bothering me without it being awkward.
I’ve tried online, but many trans spaces are (understandably) rather negative. Reddit is aimed at questions, then discord felt like I joined a club too late (not to mention everyone is way younger than me). Angels forum (U.K.) most are older and I can’t relate to them. Again angels is focused more on specific questions. I was trying an app but I can’t out a put a profile picture up because I hate my appearance.
I’m awful at making friends anyway. My anxiety doesn’t help. So I’m wondering if maybe it’s impossible for me, especially right now. I just have to suck it up and get through it alone? Maybe it’s just a part of being trans in an unaccepting world.
Anyone relate; or have this issuers?
Sorry for the wall of negativity.
