What do you think about "cheating" during work training?

2021.11.27 08:02 DaySquirrel What do you think about "cheating" during work training?

We work at home; training is via Zoom/Teams. Whenever we have assessments or examinations, my coworkers share answers to each other in a group chat. Shall I also do the same?
Since my schooling days, I never let others copy my answers because I think I value integrity and honesty. But I am open to discussions and questions whenever people are reviewing, just not on the exam proper.
But now, this is a work situation. Also, people may not be allowed to continue the job if they failed training.

2021.11.27 08:02 autotldr India plans law that will prohibit ‘all private cryptocurrencies,’ with ‘certain exceptions’

This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 58%. (I'm a bot)

The Indian government said Tuesday evening that the proposed law will permit "Certain exceptions" to promote the underlying technology of cryptocurrency and its applications.
Lawmakers in India have for several quarters been discussing risks of cryptocurrency trading and trialing a central government-backed digital currency.
An increasingly growing number of Indians, many of whom have never invested in the stock market or any other asset class, have started to trade cryptocurrencies in recent quarters, prompting concerns among some that they might end up losing their money.
India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and several other lawmakers as well as several industry stakeholders have held several meetings in recent quarters to discuss the cryptocurrency space and some of the recent developments.
At least one top Indian minister recently held conversations with a prominent venture capitalist and suggested that India is likely to formulate a law that will support innovation following China's decision to ban cryptocurrency trading and mining, according to a source directly familiar with the matter.
Shaktikanta Das, governor of the central bank Reserve Bank of India, said last week that the country needs to have much deeper discussions on the issue of cryptocurrencies.

2021.11.27 08:02 but-first----coffee Paints drying up and going sad?

I live a busy life with not a huge amount of free time and frequently forget to do any modelling for a year or more at a time, and want to just hop in to paint ! Few models, only to find my paints have died a death. The caps are always on, but they end up looking like mildly dried up separated sadness.
Is there a way to revive them, or to stop this happening?
I cant really afford to buy new paints as and when, and as someone without a big bankroll i find it quite frustrating to not have functional paints and need to buy more.
Tia!

2021.11.27 08:02 NEastW Regarding Final Tribal and “The Monster”

I thought I’d ask because I haven’t seen anyone mention this specifically.
Jeff and production have stressed that this season marks the beginning of a new era, and that there’s this monster. But generally so far really not much has changed game wise and we have yet to hear anything about the “monster”.
Maybe it’s wishful thinking, but what if they change or revamp final tribal council.
What do you think they’d do?

2021.11.27 08:02 gram2117 Using the Coinbase card instead of Flexa.

I am currently using the Coinbase card. I buy USDC with my fiat which I earn 1 percent until I spend it. This is not much but still way better than any bank and I am supporting crypto. In addtion, I earn 4% of my purchases in AMP which I hodl. The Coinbase card is a VISA debit that can be used most anywhere.
I guess my question is why would I use the Flexa network at this time vs the Coinbase card. I realize this card is supporting VISA but the personal benifits are pretty good for me also. In addtion, I am still supporting crypto.

2021.11.27 08:02 FinLoud Gibt es brauchbare steuereinfache Bitcoin-Finanzprodukte?

Hi,

https://de.scalable.capital/kryptowaehrung
Bei JustETF steht allerdings, dass speziell Crypto-ETNs wahrscheinlich wie Gold (d.h. außer meiner Sicht nicht steuereinfacht mit 1 Jahr Haltefrist etc) zu handhaben sind:
https://www.justetf.com/de/academy/bitcoins-handeln-wie-etfs.html

Weiß jemand ob es irgendwelche brauchbaren Produkte gibt, die sich steuermäßig wie Aktien verhalten? Vielleicht irgendwelche Zertifikate?

2021.11.27 08:02 itsamberleafable Company withholding my final wages over a laptop box

Hey everyone,
I've been through hell and back with a company I've worked for but I'm not going to get into it. They gave me my 2 month notice after 7 months of working with them. I've now worked my notice and handed back my company laptop, but they're now withholding my wages because I didn't bring them the box (I wasn't made aware that they'd need it)
The contract was signed before I got the laptop, and there's actually nothing in the contract about the laptop or the box. What are my rights here?
They want me to work for them part time for the next few months so ideally I wouldn't want to burn any bridges, but to be honest at this point I want to consider all options as I'm not sure I want to work part time (I have a course starting in January and have savings) for a company that's going to make my life this difficult.
So far I'm trying to get them to confirm that they're withholding payment over a laptop box (sounds ridiculous when I type it) in writing as it was only communicated verbally. What would you advise me to do?

2021.11.27 08:02 209ST Looking to Upgrade my PC

First post on this subreddit (second time writing as reddit crashed earlier, fml). Just want to start off by letting you guys know I am not at all knowledgeable when it come to PC hardware and upgrading, clock speed, mhz, ghz, overclocking etc.
Anyway, I had my PC prebuilt in October 2019 and have kept it the way it was since then. From almost the start of this year I started to get a lot of performance issues with games such as Cyberpunk and RDR2 and even Witcher 3. For the most part I always try to run a new game on high settings first to see if I can get 144fps and if not then medium settings or I just play around until I find something that doesn't visually degrade the game and doesn't destroy performance. Another issue I noticed which seems unusual was the cpu usage when for example having Steam, a couple browser tabs and discord open. It is almost always at 40% and sometimes higher, the same issue with the RAM.
So with that all being said, I didn't want to go all out and purchase a new PC and instead just want to upgrade some things to save time and money. For reference the PC cost around £850 at the time. My goal for the upgrade is to get performance in games such as Cyberpunk, RDR2, Witcher and future games such as God of War, Elden Ring etc at high settings or highest at 144fps or anything above 100. I understand that the current climate of the GPU market is not the greatest and maybe that applies to other pc hardware as well, I don't mind all that much though. Of course I would rather spend as close to the bottom of the budget as possible as spending over £800 for upgrading a pc which cost £850 just doesn't seem right, maybe thats normal for you guys that have much more understanding of this topoc than I do, and if that is the case then so be it, as long as it in a sense future proofs it as I don't really want to upgrade in another 3 or more years.
Current PC specs:
Graphics Card: Zotac GeForce GTX 1660ti Twin Fan 6144mb GDDR6 PCI-Express
RAM: Team Group Vulcan T-Force 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-24000C16 3000MHz Dual Channel Kit
CPU: Intel.Core i5 9400F 2.9GHz (4.1Ghz Boost) Coffee Lake Processor
Motherboard: Asus Prime B360-Plus Intel-B360 (Socket 1151) DDR4 ATX Motherboard
PSU: Kolink Core Series 1000W 80 Plus Certified Power Supply
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM SATA 6GB/s 64MB Cache HDD
WD Blue 3D NAND 500GB 2.5" SATA 6GBps Solid State Drive
Thank you in advance, if there is any additional info you need I will try my best to get it for you.
