He viewed all my stories today..

2021.12.05 10:12 yourfavouriteanon1 He viewed all my stories today..

So today I spammed a lot on my story. He rarely watches my stories or at least would only watch one or two out of a spam. But today, he watched all of them..
I wanted to block him on Instagram, but it would've been too noticeable something happened. He is close with my family, and the last thing I want is for them to know what happened with him. I was f(14) when I dated him, and he was M(21). He I've posted before what happened, but it was practically oral rape (I hate to call it that, so that's why I am saying practically). He has never asked me to do it, and when I turned my head to face back to him, he pushed my head down to you know where, and kept his hand there. He was creating the movements, so it was impossible to break free.
But him viewing all my spams on my story today was just a bit of a draw back. It's like everytime I try and forget about him or what happened, it comes back to haunt me. I feel like I keep running and running and be keeps appearing. I have blocked him in everything else, but I don't want my family to know something happened. Especially because they will notice if I unfollow him or block him on ig. But this was a massive draw back for me

2021.12.05 10:12 ConvNathan Encounter random crashes while gaming

Hello everyone,
It has been several months since my pc crashes during gaming sessions. After updating all my drivers, flashing my BIOS and cleaning the dust, I still get these crashes.
The problem is probably a hardware failure but I am not entirely sure. I built my PC 4 years ago.
I would be grateful to get any advice or hint to have a clear diagnostic of the problem.

The specs : Mainboard Model : STRIX Z270H GAMING
CPU : Intel Core i7 7700K

2021.12.05 10:12 WonWop The incredible sound effects of Malta’s Hypogeum Hal Saflieni

Hal Saflieni Hypogeum is a cultural property of exceptional prehistoric value, dating back approximately 5,000 years and the only known example of a subterranean structure of the Bronze Age.
Although not known for certain, it is believed that the hypogeum was originally used as a sanctuary, possibly for an oracle. It is for this reason that a unique chamber carved out of solid limestone and demonstrating incredible acoustic properties has been called ‘the Oracle Chamber’. According to William Arthur Griffiths, who wrote ‘Malta and its Recently Discovered Prehistoric Temples’, a word spoken in the Oracle room is “magnified a hundredfold and is audible throughout the entire structure. The effect upon the credulous can be imagined when the oracle spoke and the words came thundering forth through the dark and mysterious place with terrifying impressiveness."
It is said that standing in the Hypogeum is like being inside a giant bell. At certain pitches, one feels the sound vibrating in bone and tissue as much as hearing it in the ear. Sarasota arts and architecture critic Richard Storm explained the sensation: "Because you sense something coming from somewhere else you can't identify, you are transfixed." The acoustic properties within the Hypogeum have already been studied extensively. It was found by Maltese composer Ruben Zahra and a research team from Italy that sound resonates at 110 Hz within the Oracle chamber, and this matches the same or similar frequency that has been found in many other ancient chambers around the world, including Newgrange in Ireland. According to Dr Robert Jahn from Princeton University, it may be the dimensions of the room or the quality of the stone that determines the exact pitch of this echo behaviour. But the question remains – was it intentional?
Was the Hypogeum actually designed to enhance amplification? If so, why? Is it possible that the designers of these spaces knew something that modern scientists are just rediscovering?
Uh, duh. Yes.

2021.12.05 10:12 academic_spaghetti Creating music with friends

How do you guys go about it for the most part. We dont have any formal band, but we have a good 5 or 6 guys that are quite talented and interested in creating music together. We do jam when the stars align, but being young adults with crazy schedules its tough to get full dedication ya know. But anyway i feel like ive taken the most steps in recording and arranging stuff either by myself, or with one other person at a time. Ive tried recording with multiple people, but its difficult to keep a group focus on a song while I dial in and program some drums, or if we need to take 10 minutes to work on the verse, it feels like it always just turns into a jam sesh. Which is great, that sparks ideas, but at the end of the day I want a concrete file i can come back to and develop more, structure more, produce, mix, etc. And actually send songs to family friends and streaming services. Ive gotten around maybe 5 this year that i was quite proud of sending around to friends and family, but needs some professional mixing before id feel proud streaming them. Also, we instrument musicians with not much knowledge of the electronic or production side of music other than what I've gathered the past year from youtube tutorials and self learning. Essentially, i just want to become more efficient in creating music thats concrete. Thanks!
